GL Profiles has a fully automated cut to length line, leading the way in the coil handling industry.
Our state-of-the-art machinery allows us to produce profile sheets with a Condensation Control Fleece. Metal profiled roofs (also referred to as box profile sheets, 32/1000, corrugated metal roof sheets) have been used in the commercial and construction industry for over 100 years. The primary reason is the fact that they offer numerous benefits including long life, appealing external building design styles and increases a buildings efficiency (such as keeping in heat if insulated) to meet the latest build reg U Values.
GL Profiles has created a sheet profile that provides support for the lap stitches, which speeds up site installation.
We understand that sometimes it is difficult to find the right profile when matching up to existing cladding. Perhaps the profile no longer exists, or you only want a few cladding sheets. That is why we manufacture bespoke profile sheets hand pressed to match up to most standard profiles or even a sample from the existing building.
These can be made from Colorcoat® HPS, Colorcoat® Prisma, Colorcoat® LG, Bright White Liner, pre coat Aluminium or galvanised steel.
All of GL Profiles roll formed sheets, underwent vigorous testing to achieve UKCA marking. Under the CPR EN 14782:2006.
In 2021 our Sinusoidal Profiler machine was installed, allowing our customers to give their projects the old industrial ‘corrugated’ appearance. All our 0.7mm sheets have passed fragility testing, and we have a fully tested walkable liner sheet.
