Economic pre-finished steel for UK and Ireland roof and wall profile applications.
Product Summary
Colorcoat® GP is an economical, 200μm plastisol pre-finished steel designed for roof and wall single skin and built up profile applications in the UK and Ireland. It features a leathergrain emboss and comes in 13 standard colours. Manufactured in the UK by Tata Steel, the product is REACH compliant, chromate-free, and uses a galvanised substrate in accordance with BS EN 10346:2015.
Warranty Information
A functional guarantees is available for up to 25 years, including factory-cut edges. Coverage varies based on location (inland or coastal—defined as within 3km of the sea) and colour band.
Available for external roof and wall single skin and built up profile applications on request basis through GL Profiles Ltd.
(Excludes individual domestic residential buildings and flashings). Now includes coverage for the use of Colorcoat® GP under photovoltaic (PV) frame modules.
Important Notes:
1. Not suitable for use in aggressive environments
2. For higher performance needs, Colorcoat® LG is recommended
3. Tata Steel uses laboratory tests to measure performance against corrosion, effect of sunlight, chemicals and abrasion All testing of products is carried out in specialised laboratories to international standards
